A major refurbishment of the pool has been completed and the pool will reopen this Saturday, February 23rd. The new pool looks great. Go by and take a look.
The LOW Community Garage Sale will take place on Saturday, April 6th from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. More information will be posted closer to the event date.
Monk Property Update – There will be a Public Hearing on March 12, 2019 at 2 p.m. at the County Commission Chambers, First Floor, County Admiration Center, 201 South Rosalind Avenue, Orlando, Florida. The developer is now proposing 81 homes for this property. The proposal is still not concurrent with traffic or the school board. However, it appears for a fee that they can overcome this. Please be at the public hearing if you wish to voice your concerns.
Please note that short term leases or rentals are not permitted in our community. Page 34, Section 6 reads as follows: Restriction Against Short Term Rentals. There shall be no “short term rentals of any dwellings or portions thereof, on any lot. For purposes of this Declaration, a “short term” rental shall be defined as any rental for a period of less than six (6) full calendar months. This means you can not rent your home through such places as Airbnb or VRBO. It is also currently illegal to do so in Orange County Florida.
